Seoul … News Time

The relationship between North Korea and South Korea melted snow in the last two years. The two countries have agreed to organize military talks to reduce border tensions. In the first high level meeting between the last two years, North and South Korea agreed that border stress would be reduced and in this regard, the two countries will be restored to the suspended military hotline for two years. In addition, North Korea also announced that it will send its delegation in the upcoming Winter Olympics in South Korea in February next year.

The South Korean delegation in negotiations said the matter of North Korea’s nuclear program was discussed during the talks. However, North Korea’s attitude on this matter was negative. The US welcomed the talks between North and South Korea carefully. The statement issued by the US Department of State has said that the US is in touch with South Korean officials and they must make sure that UN sanctions are not affected by participation in the North Korea Winter Olympics. South Korea says it is considering temporary withdrawal of UN sanctions by UN consultation to ensure participation in the North Korea delegation’s Winter Olympics.

The talks between North and South Korea were held in the non-military area Panmunjom Peace Village between the borders of the two countries. In which five, five senior officers of the two countries attended, while the leaders of the two countries saw the talks through the video link. Remember, the last two talks between the two countries were held in 2015. North Korea then launch rocket launches and nuclear experiments, due to which South Korea suspended the joint economic project with it, and the relations between the two countries apparently disappeared.
