The Tokyo government has banned foreigners from entering the country after confirming the first case of the converted coronavirus in Japan. As a result of the new ban in Japan, all foreign nationals will be barred from entering Japan until the end of January next year. According to Japanese authorities, at least eight patients have been diagnosed with the new strain of coronavirus. Four of the patients have been shifted to hospital while four others are being quarantined. The UK recently developed a genetically modified coronavirus. After the UK, the modified virus has been tested in Japan, France, Germany, Pakistan, India, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Singapore.
