According to the International News Agency, 43 people were beheaded in an attack by gunmen in the village of Kwashebe in the Nigerian state of Borno, while 6 villagers managed to escape with serious injuries and 8 are missing. No militant group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but a military official involved in the relief effort told the media that such operations are carried out by Boko Haram.
