Pakistani authorities provided economic data to the IMF team, which was reviewed during the talks after the analysis; the IMF team will prepare a report on Pakistan’s economic situation till Wednesday and will also give a look at the supply of loans to Pakistan. Ministry of Finance spokesman and Special Secretary Finance Noor Ahmed confirmed that the IMF team has made technical-level talks with Pakistani officials on revenue, expenditure, external financing, inflation, and other issues including trade, the series of talks will continue until Wednesday, after which the IMF team will prepare its report. Dr. Ishrat Hussain, head of the Financial Monetary Task Force on Friday, also met the IMF delegation headed by Harald Finger. The discussed the economic situation of the country.
