The Election Commission of India announced the general elections in six weeks from April 11 to May 19, where millions will cast their votes. India’s current Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the contestant of Gandhi and Nehru’s political heritage Rahul Gandhi for his second term.
The Election Commission announced that the elections would be picked up by 543 members of the House of Lok Sabha (Lok Sabha) during 11 April 2019 and 19 May 2019. Rahul Gandhi criticized Modi’s economic projects during his campaign and assured the people that the Congress got the government.
