Faisal Rasheed, Dr. Rozina Khan Alien, Roshan Ara Ali and Ropa Haq are also expected to win the election. Sajid Javed, Nusrat Ghani and Saqib Bhatti are the leading Pakistani nominees from the Conservative Party. According to the British Broadcasting Agency, the value of the British pound was seen to rise by 3% as soon as the results of the exit poll were announced. The elections have been held in Britain for the second time since December 1923.
