Saudi Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir said that the meeting stressed the need for a political solution to the ongoing crisis in Syria and demanded the withdrawal of all foreign forces from this country. The United Arab Emirates Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash has also condemned Turkish military action. He has called on the international community to fulfill its obligations to stop the Turkish military offensive in Syria. He said that we demand the withdrawal of all foreign forces violating the sovereignty of this Arab country (Syria), as well as the need for a political solution to the conflict, except for Turkey and its forces.

Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa has condemned the aggression by any party against Arab countries. He called on Arab countries to counter the dangers posed by Arab national security. Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, who attended the Arab League meeting, also condemned the attacks on Syria and said it was time for Syria to join the Arab League again. He said it was in the interest of Arab countries.
