London … News Time

Altaf Hussain, the founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, believes that since his ancestors were from India, he should be allowed to live in India. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain in a recent speech appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give him and his colleague’s political asylum. Altaf Hussain is of the view that since his ancestors belonged to India; they should be allowed to live in India. MQM chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to India for help several times in the past. Last month, he also had a video in which he was singing the national anthem of India sare jahan se acha Hindustan hamara. In 2015, he appealed to the United Nations and NATO for help and intervention with India, to which the then government reacted strongly and the then Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar declared it a declaration war. However, Altaf Hussain later explained that he had not done such a thing.

London-based Altaf Hussain used to make long-range speeches over the telephone, and later, when private news channels were launched in Pakistan, the speeches began to air, News channels occasionally broadcast these speeches live, but in 2015 the Lahore High Court banned the broadcasting of his speeches and photographs. The plaintiff’s position was that he spoke against Pakistan’s military and national security. Altaf Hussain’s statement came in March 2017, in which he appealed to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to help refugees in Pakistan. According to him, the refugees based in Pakistan are actually Indians, so Prime Minister Modi must voice their rights. Earlier on August 22, 2016, a controversial speech marked the question of his politics and political future. He then published an apology in which he apologized for the extrajudicial killings of his colleagues, the constant arrest of his colleagues, and seeing his troubles, he was suffering from severe depression and his speech. The result was. According to him, the words he used against Pakistan resulted in extreme mental pressure.

The targeted operation was launched in September 2013 under the leadership of Rangers against targeted killings on extortion, political, linguistic and sectarian grounds in Karachi during the Muslim League-N government. And later, after the terrorist incident at the Army Public School, the operation was included in the National Action Plan. At that time, the MQM had complained that their party was the target of the operation. The same operation raided MQM’s political center Nine Zero in March 2015, after which the leadership of MQM was scattered. Some leaders, including Haider Abbas Rizvi, Wasay Jalil, left Pakistan, some supported Mustafa Kamal, who founded the Pak Sarzameen Party. During this time the MQM broke out and the MQM leadership shifted from Altaf Hussain to Dr Farooq Sattar to Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. He said that Karachi operation started in August 2016 and earlier, which reduced the power of MQM and control over Karachi. Apart from this, the split in MQM factions, the political isolation of Altaf Hussain, the victory of MQM Karachi in only 4 seats in the general election, the state’s position that MQM and Altaf Hussain have links with India and its organization, RAW, are all factors that have strengthened this fission.

Farhan Siddiqui says Altaf Hussain has not only given his politics another blow but it has also put its supporters and India in trouble because it is done in a covert manner when there are such links or states interfering in general. Altaf Hussain Youth, including Altaf Hussain, founded All Pakistan Refugee Association or APMSO at Karachi University on June 11, 1978. It was founded on March 18, 1984 by an organization called the Migrant National Movement. It combines the vote of the Urdu population which was distributed in the name of religious, professional parties and Muslim League. After that, MQM dominated Karachi and Hyderabad for 29 years. During this time the organization suffered three operations and suffered twice the mutilation. Quaid-e-Azam University teacher Farhan Siddiqui says the migrant community has always been behind two-nation ideologyBut Altaf Hussain’s recent speech makes it clear that he (Altaf Hussain) does not accept the two-nation ideology and his traditional politics, which began with the quota system and the point that the migrant community is suffering in Pakistan, their ancestors made Pakistan and they are not getting the rights they want, it has changed. There is no link between Altaf Hussain’s politics and the current politics of which workers and people are worried.

Senior journalist and analyst Mazhar Abbas says Altaf Hussain is coming from Pakistan’s national politics as an almost extremist and separatist leader. I am talking about Sindh, Azad Balochistan, but their role in the national politics of Pakistan is almost over. Mazar Abbas says Altaf Hussain is going through a hate speech case in London in June, apart from this, the Imran Farooq murder case is also under trial and unless these two cases reach a logical conclusion, they do not think anything will proceed. Have Altaf Hussain and his associates regularly appealed to the Indian government for political asylum? No response was received when contacted by MQM London leader Nadeem Ahsan and Mustafa Azizabad.
