A US military plane crashed in a Taliban-controlled area of central Afghanistan. Although the Taliban claimed responsibility for the plane, according to a foreign news agency ‘Reuters’ however, US officials, on condition of anonymity, said there was no indication so far that the plane crashed in enemy action. There were less than 10 people on board the plane, one of the officials said. In the photos and video of a plane crash in Ghazni province, the remains of the bomber ‘E11A’ were seen. Authorities immediately dispatched local officials to the site of the crash, senior Afghan officials told Reuters. The area is mountainous and partially under Taliban control.

However, Afghanistan’s senior defense official denied the presence of senior US officers on the ship. Following the incident, it was being reported that the passenger plane of Ariana, Afghanistan’s airline, was destroyed, however the news was denied by Ariana. Mirwais Mirzakwal, the airline’s acting chief executive officer (CEO), told Reuters that the ship was not of Ariana, as it was today from Herat to Kabul and Herat. New Delhi flights are safe. Two of the Ghazni officials said the plane that struck the plane apparently belonged to a foreign company.

The airliner had 38 passengers and 6 crew members aboard and crashed into a mountainous area 20 km from Kabul.
