In the beginning of business in the Interbank Foreign Currency Market on Friday, a dollar has been added to the value of dollars in rupees. According to Forex Dealers, the value of the dollar in the interbank market increased to Rs 124.25 in the initial steps of business. On the other hand, in the open market, the value of rupees dropped by 10 paise, with a 10 paise reduction, the dollar came at a level of Rs 124.60. In July, the rupee’s record was lower than the dollar and a dollar was about 129 rupees, but then the value of rupees improved.

The decline in the value of rupees has been reduced from 21% to the previous year since December. The dollar was Rs 110 in the year this year, but then the value of rupees increased by 15 percent and on July 18, the highest level of dollar history was drawn up to 128.75. During the last few weeks there has been some improvement in the value of rupees against the dollar but it is still less than the previous level.
