The energy sector projects between the Government of Pakistan and the French Development Organization (AFD) Including the Easy Transaction Agreement of 165 million Euros related to the Power Transmission Assessment Investment and the Mangla Power Plant Maintenance Fund financing. According to the details, 165 million Euros have been signed in the energy sector between Pakistan and France. Secretary Economic Affairs Dawid Shahid Mahmood, French Ambassador in Pakistan signed the agreement with the French Ambassador Martine Dorance and AFD director Jacky Amprou. Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar was present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar expressed concern over the continued support and cooperation of the French Development Institution (AFD) for the economic development of Pakistan. The French ambassador said on Friday that long-term historical cooperation between France and Pakistan was established. France wants Pakistan to cooperate in various fields. It was said on the occasion that the purpose of this program is to make the energy sector more discounted, reliable and durable. This will help in the economic growth of the country through implementation of the National Power Policy.
