From the Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan at a ceremony held in Islamabad Dr Muhammad Irshad Switzerland by the Swiss Ambassador Marc George signed the agreement in Pakistan. The Finance Center Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Minister of Special Assistant Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan, Swiss Embassy, the Ministry of Finance and the FBR senior officials were also present. Article internationally recognized standards related to information exchange in the salient features of the revised contract changes are compatible with the new Article which is based on the OECD model. Implementation of domestic tax rules would expand the current scope of the request for information. It will get access to bank information for tax purposes and such information will not be refused merely on the basis this information has been withheld by the bank or any other financial institution.
